Ojai Rotary 5th Friday, September 30th, 2016

With the Soule Park fairways laid out before us like a velvet towel on nature’s lap, the Rotary Club of Ojai gathered on the balcony for our Fifth Friday social on a sparkling evening.. President Bill Gilbreth worked the room like an old-time pol while his partner-in-crime Sue charmed us into submission. The ever-stylish Ann Kaplan brought Jerry Kaplan, who brought cheer to the gathering. Colin Jones, who, with Cindy by his side, was celebrating his birthday by buying the house a round of drinks. Jack Jacobs introduced us to Grace Robinson, Cal State Channel Islands University’s Director for Planned and Major Gifts, who gave us the lowdown about a fund-raiser for the university. Grammy winning artist, Bruce Hornsby will perform next Friday at Libbey Bowl, with the show set for 6:30 p.m. For more information, go to: csuci.edu/pc16.
