Experiences from 30 years in the foreign service

Leslie Rower and Ted Dieffenbacher have spent a career in the foreign services in such remote places as Recife, Brazil, Kenya, Mozambique and Papua New Guinea. They were both foreign student advisors at their respective universities in Boston prior to starting their careers in the foreign service. They were in Kenya in 1998 during the deadly bombings at the US Embassy building. They are recently retired and live in Miami.
