Local Farm-Based Education

Grace Malloy is a farm-based educator at Poco Farms and midwife's assistant with the Santa Barbara Midwives.  She, her husband Dan, and a small herd of humans run Poco Farms, a small farmstead in downtown Meiner's Oaks where kids of all ages and adults come to learn about farming, gardening, homesteading and life skills.  She has kept a small herd of alpine and lamancha dairy goats for the last six years.  

She is the Secretary at the Ojai Valley Grange, the treasurer of the Center for Regenerative Agriculture, an educator for Food for Thought Ojai, and a member of the Ojai Valley Municipal Advisory Committee.    (PTA)
