The Program…Steve Frank--Chairman Ojai Community Hospital Foundation Board

Steve Frank – a Founding Member of our sister club and Chair of the Community Hospital Foundation Board – opened his remarks by fining Jack Jacobs (to much applause) and then proceeded to give a thorough description of the Foundation’s mission, history, key messages, upcoming events, and current building project.

Steve began by describing the way in which the hospital kept functioning through the Thomas Fire, and transported the 13 most vulnerable patients to Columbia Memorial Hospital. He went on to emphasize the importance of community support and gifted leadership, particularly that of our own Haady Lashkari. He told us of the many ways in which the Foundation creates community awareness, and he took obvious pride in the fact that the hospital has raised over 9.5 million dollars in the last 13 years.
