Over the years Haady Lashkari has been promoted into several roles including Assistant Administrator and Assistant Vice President before moving into his current role as Chief Administrative Officer of the Community Memorial Hospital – Ojai in January 2011. Haady will give us an update on current CMH happenings.

Restaurants in Ojai which have supported our fundraiser "Taste of Ojai" will be the destination for a lunch spot of your choice for a great lunch and chance to get together with a smaller group of friends from the Rotary Club of Ojai. Sign-up sheets will be available at meetings several weeks in advance, and you will be emailed a reminder before the Lunch Mob date.

Tania Parker, Deputy Director OVLC will present. Tania grew up in the Ojai Valley, and after graduating from The Thacher School, obtained her degree in Forestry and Natural Resources Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She then went on to earn a certificate in graphic design from UCSB. In her role with the OVLC, she connects local and regional supporters with land conservation efforts in the "Rewild Ojai" program.

Charlie Kimball, an American former race car driver who most recently competed in the IndyCar Series with A. J. Foyt Enterprises. He has scored a win, six podiums, and 13 top 5s during his IndyCar career. His best season results were ninth in 2013 and 2016. In addition, he won the 2013 24 Hours of Daytona. Charlie Kimball inspires audiences to shift from incremental evolution to groundbreaking innovation. Nargis Zagran,Afghan women education: Nargis Taraki will speak about the social perception of girls in Afghanistan. An Afghani citizen, Nargis was recently featured on the BBC list of 100 influential and inspiring women. She saw her family being threatened by the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. Her uncle was killed in front of villagers for not adhering to the rules set by the extremist organization.nnToday she is serving as an Advisor to the Ministry of Finance, Afghanistan. She has spoken at Kabul University on women’s rights and citizenship, defying Taliban warnings. (via Zoom)
