Saturday, April 6, 9:00am to 12:00pm
A free household document shred and e-waste disposal event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 6, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Nordhoff Parking Lot. Don’t miss the chance to have your unneeded documents securely destroyed. Shredding protects personal information and is a great way to declutter while contributing to environmentally sound recycling! In sum, shredding documents provides security, efficiency, and peace of mind.
E-waste such as televisions, computer monitors, printers, scanners, CPUs, laptops, fax machines, video game consoles, mice, keyboards, external hard drives, CD drives, floppy drives, cell phones (remove battery), VCR and DVD players, and stereo systems are acceptable at this event.
There are items, however, that cannot be shredded or accepted as e-waste: batteries, ink cartridges (collected at City Hall), hanging folders, and cardboard tubes are some examples.
This event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ojai and the Lions Club with support of the Nordhoff Rangers.
